We visited this place unplanned during our trip to Ella, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience!The eco-friendly setup and outdoor seating perfectly complement Ella’s refreshing climate. The ambiance is peaceful and blends seamlessly with nature, making it a great spot to relax. The service was friendly, and the overall vibe was welcoming. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a cozy and nature-filled dining experience in Ella!

Great dish - we had a Kottu and tuna salad, both flawless. Nice and clean environment. Friendly staff. Coffee took a little longer and had a strange aftertaste, but not a big deal. Prices adequate. Would recommend this place.

I had an incredible experience at the Hiking Bar in Ella! The atmosphere was vibrant, with live music creating the perfect setting for a laid-back yet lively evening. The performers were fantastic, and their energy truly elevated the experience.The food and drinks were equally impressive. Each dish was flavorful and well-prepared, while the drinks menu offered a variety of options to suit different tastes. Everything we ordered was spot-on.If you're in Ella, this place is a must-visit for good vibes, great food, and unforgettable live music. Highly recommended!

If you’re looking for the best food in Sri Lanka, this is the spot. We had the KOTTU, BIRIYANI and the LAMPRICE. For dessert we had fried banana and strawberry cheesecake. The dishes were beautifully served, bursting with flavor and balanced to perfection. Our server Chanika was super helpful and friendly. All in all a wonderful experience with really nice ambience and incredible food!

After a long train ride we randomly decided to have drinks and food here. From the start staff was super friendly and accomodating. A big shout out to Dias for his exceptional service! He also gives support and guidance for hiking! Good to know!Will come back and reccomend to all travelers!PS: the delicious food ( local dishes) and drinks just made our stop even more perfect!

Madu was brilliant. So knowledgeable, great recommendations (the mojitos were divine). We had the dosa and chicken stew with paratha. The flavours were sublime. Thank you Madu!!
